*Diaryland Gold*

I couldn't really take a break from here without sharing some favourite entries from the past few years that I've read on Diaryland. This is not an exhaustive list and I may tweak/add to it in the next week or two. I'm Journalling heavily on the new Apple Journal App so I hope I never leave my phone on the train or in the back of a cab at any point as I'll probably get into trouble if anyone else reads it.

Most of these entries made me thoughtful above all else but some did make me smile, some made me laugh, and some made me sad or tearful. Thats the wonderful thing about here, there is so much real life going on and really you couldn't make it up. I've kept it to the last few years date wise or I would have been going way back to users like Unclebob and Kung Fu Kitten etc and been here for years sorting out Diaryland Gold.

I remember years ago joining the Flickr Scotland Group back when Flickr was a great thing. You would spend months building contacts and trying to get to know them through their eyes as they posted their photo updates. Then when the group meet-ups started, you would find your self spending time with all those contacts and sitting across a table sharing a meal and drink with them. The overwhelming outcome of that was that they were all nice people, just ordinary folks going through life as best they could and taking photos along the way.

I often wondered whether there was ever a D-Land UK users Diaryring and did those users ever do meet-ups? That would have been fun I think if it ever happened. Anyway, here is a slice of D-Land Gold to read.
